“What separates the winners from the losers is how a person reacts to each new twist of fate” – Donald Trump
Donald J. Trump is an American businessman, a real-estate mogul, author and television personality, who is the president the The Trump Organization.
Often referred to as the king of real-estate, Trump ranks 423 on the world billionaire list, and 139 on the US rich-list! His net worth, according to Forbes, is said to be 3.2 billion! What is interesting here is that Trump has claimed that his actual net worth is ‘substantially in excess’ of Forbes’ estimate, without actually revealing the exact figure himself.
Safe to say, the dude’s loaded!
Trump owns a lot of property in the world, most notably in Manhattan, New York. He is perhaps the biggest and the most-well-known real-estate developer in New York. He owns and has built a ton of hotels, sky-scrapers, resorts, and golf-courses in the States as well as all over the world – with all his businesses reported to be doing rather well..
Trump and his various organizations owns commercial property such as the Trump International Hotels, the rights to the Miss Universe and Miss America Pageants, The Trump Towers, Trump Entertainment Resorts, Trump National Golf Club in LA, Trump Casino and Resorts, and a probably so much more that I’d run out of space if I were to list everything down!
Trump also has his very own reality TV show by the name of The Apprentice (NBC). The show is currently in it’s 12th successful season, and it is said that Trump has made more than a $100 million from The Apprentice alone since it’s debut in 2003!
In short, Trump is one of the most successful businessmen in the world! People in construction and real-estate from all over the world look up to him, and case-studies related to his businesses and him as a person are taught in business schools all across the globe.
Trump Senior once said about Donald: “Everything he seems to touch turns to gold.” Wow!
He is rather well-known for his quotes (‘Think big” being one of his most famous ones). His quote “what separates the winners from the losers is how a person reacts to each new twist of fate” is a good representative of him as a man. Indeed, the ability to deal with setbacks, changes and shocks is what defines winners, and separates them from the rest of the lot!
